TVC @ Oxwick

Since its inception in 2014, The Visible College has produced events of all types across Europe, but there has been a singular dream: to be able to host those with alternative spiritualities at a site where they are free to practice as they wish. Now, that dream is becoming a reality through TVC’s partnership with Oxwick, a natural heritage site in the South West of England.

Oxwick is a beautiful farmstead situated close to the M4 and M5, with major public transport links 5 minutes away at Yate. It boasts a large hall perfect for celebrations, conferences, and events and has a glamping and camping site with all amenities. TVC is able to offer this space for all reasonable paths who respect the site’s ethos of ecological sustainability and environmental growth. However large or small your group or booking, contact us with your idea and we’ll make it happen.

The ‘Middle Shed’ Event Space

The event space at Oxwick is a large converted barn with room to seat up to a hundred persons in conference layout, space for staging and audio/visual presentations, and can be partitioned for workshops or rituals. It has been used for handfastings, lectures, workshops, and group practice successfully for a number of years.

A Retreat Experience

As well as the event space, you can hire the entire glamping site, additional breakout rooms, and fully-functional kitchenette to create a weekend retreat for your group curated by The Visible College. This option gives you exclusive use of the site for the whole weekend and includes pre-meetings with TVC facilitators before your booking.

Create a Camp or Festival

The Pagan and Spiritual communities have a long and storied history of festivals and camps, and at Oxwick you can enjoy a beautiful site with full support of the landowners and TVC’s facilitators. Whether you choose to wear woad or go skyclad, bring singing bowls or an entire sound stage, we will work with you to make it a reality.

Venue hire for ritual use

Event Space Hire

  • Hall hire only

  • Minimum 2 Hours

  • £15 per hour, or £100 for all-day

Retreats and Residential Courses

    • Exclusive use of the Hall, Kitchenette, and Breakout Space

    • Glamping for up to 20 attendees or teachers

    • Camping for up to 20 attendees or teachers

  • Package includes set-up Friday afternoon with use of venue and glamping/camping facilities Friday and Saturday night.

    Sunday evening accommodation at additional cost.

  • Friday evening to Sunday afternoon: £3,000

Festivals and Camps

    • Exclusive use of the Hall, Kitchenette, Breakout Spaces

    • Glamping for up to 20 persons

    • Camping for up to 1,500 persons

    • Capacity for mobile-homes and caravans

    • 7 acres of secluded field with water points

    • 3 acre field with centuries-old oak trees

    • 3 rewilding fields with newt ponds

    NOTE: Power supply and staging infrastructure not included.

    • Festivals: Thursday to Monday

    • Camps: Wednesday to Sunday

    Between March and October only
