Kabbalah is at the foundation of much of the Western Mystery Tradition – from the grimoires to the Golden Dawn, from Levi to Crowley and beyond. It has a reputation for being overly complex, but is in fact layers of simplicity that build upon and complement (and occasionally contradict) each other in a system that is elegant and practical, existing in a dynamic tension of force and form whose balance creates magic.
What you’ll learn
This weekend workshop will be an intensive dive into using Kabbalah practically in your practices and your life. It draws on classical practices and ones David has created based on key texts like the Sepher Yetzirah. No previous knowledge of Kabbalah is required, as all the major concepts will be explained and experienced through the numerous exercises practiced during the weekend.
The workshop is structured so that each hour comprises a lecture, the explanation of the practice, performing the practice, and discussion afterwards. As such there are 22 practices that will be performed during the 22 hours of the workshop, making this a very practice-oriented weekend. You may already be familiar with many of the practices, which can be found in David’s books Climbing the Tree of Life, Practical Qabalah Magic and Sepher Yetzirah Magic, but experiencing them in such a concentrated fashion is sure to immerse you deeply into the practical transformative qualities that Kabbalah contains.
