At present we can only accept donations of money, but if you’d like to volunteer to staff an event for a reduced- or complimentary-ticket please get in touch at info@visible-college.org

Yes, that’s fine, please purchase a ticket in your name initially and then email us at info@visible-college.org to say you would like to nominate another person or offer it as a free ticket to someone who can’t afford one, and we’ll let people know. This has worked really well for our retreats in the past.

As a Community Interest Company, there are 3 directors who volunteer their time and make primary decisions as listed on Companies House. Occasionally Directors will claim transport expenses for travel to events with equipment, e.g. for van hire and fuel.
TVC banks with The Co-Operative Society and files annual tax returns with HMRC and Companies House.
Staff for events are volunteers who give their time in exchange for entry, frequently drawn from those who have attended events previously.
At present there are no paid staff, however we are hoping to pay for a social media officer in the future as it is so difficult to get the message out in the current online climate.

To keep tickets affordable, our events rarely turn a profit, and staff and directors volunteer their time for free. Money goes towards venue hire, speaker fees, and marketing.
We never use AI, so every infographic, educational post, and event flyer is made by our team for no personal reward.
The Visible College is a registered Community Interest Company with an asset-lock, and our nominated beneficiary is Trans-States, another CIC which works for the esoteric community. Anything you give which is not used would be passed to them in the event of TVC winding down.
